Strategic Planning Conference for new Center site at Penn State

Penn State is planning to establish a site in the Center for e-Design, a National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Research Center. As part of this effort, a Strategic Planning Workshop will be held June 8-10 at the Nittany Lion Inn for potential industry partners.

The conference will begin with a welcome reception at 7 p.m. on June 8th. Project proposal presentations, a workshop to discuss industry needs, facility tours, and a dinner will be held June 9. The workshop will conclude on June 10 with continued discussions during a half-day session, followed by optional facility tours.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on June 9, as well as breakfast and lunch on June 10 will be provided to registrants. Please click here to register, or copy this link: into your browser.

During the workshop, researchers will present potential projects and industry/agency participants will discuss their interests in each of these projects. Industry will also be asked to identify problem areas and topics not covered in presentations. Ultimately, the aim is to identify the win-win projects and communicate the many other benefits of membership, so that at the end of the meeting, your organization would find great value in partnering with the center.
